Join developers, entrepreneurs, and expert mentors at the open collaborative hackathon during Action Week, Lisbon 2016.
This is your unique opportunity to bring your product and rapidly build innovative new prototype solutions on an open ecosystem platform. Experimenting with the open platform, Open APIs and creative new solutions exposed by others in the hack, you will participate in a collaborative experience and gain valuable, expert feedback. This Open Hack is hosted within a community of 150+ global experts, and has a focus on the next wave of Open APIs; preordering, onboarding and privacy management.
Lisbon city is set to expose open data for the Forum {open}:hack in partnership with IBM & Ericsson. This will provide a really rich platform to developers, startups and business people alike.
When you consider the Ericsson stadium APIs & Connected car APIs, plus IBM Bluemix, and the Forum's open APIs this is a really excellent opportunity to innovate, collaborate and hack!
Eligibility
- The Hackathon is open to all registered participants. The roles specifically being sought are developers, designers, technologists, data scientists, and entrepreneur as well as enterprise developers.
- If you are an employee of a corporation, government agency, or an academic institution, you are responsible for ensuring that your participation in the Hackathon complies with any policies your corporation, agency, or institution may have regarding participation in an event of this type. We are not responsible for any disputes arising between you and your employer.
Requirements
Please submit your team’s Entry at http://tmforum-open-hack-lisbon.devpost.com by 2:30 PM on Feb 3rd. Your submission should include:
- Your App, product or service submission:
- Title
- Tagline
- Description (should be approximately 500 words);
- Explanation regarding which TM Forum APIs have been used
- Feedback regarding use of the APIs and platform from the event
- Screenshots or image, with a maximum size of 5mb; format should be JPG, PNG or GIF
- Capturing a video of your submission and posting to utube is recommended
- Git Commit submissions should be submitted as described in the section below.
- It is not obligatory to submit the full code at the end of the hackathon. It is however, highly recommended to submit the new code created at the hackathon to the open source community.
- By making the submission, you represent and warrant that:
- Any code you supply for your entry is yours or your teams to choose to submit and is being submitted in alignment with TM Forum's IPR agreement.
